Maternal & Perinatal Health
The Liggins Institute is a world leading centre for research on maternal, fetal and child health. Within the Liggins Institute, The Maternal Perinatal Health Group brings together a multi-disciplinary team of researchers from the fields of obstetrics, midwifery, paediatrics and neonatology to improve the health of women and their babies. Our studies are currently investigating care during pregnancy to reduce the risks for the baby when born preterm, and how best to detect and treat women with diabetes in pregnancy.
We are currently seeking a Clinical Trial/Study Coordinator to be responsible for the effective management of the clinical trials and studies and ensure the effective delivery of project objectives. The successful candidate will need to have a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and previous work within healthcare or clinical research would be an advantage. They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be highly organised with great attention to detail, a ‘can do’ attitude, and enjoy working within a team of health and research professionals dedicated to improving the health of mothers and children in New Zealand.
This is a fixed term position for 12 months.
