Job Details
We are seeking a part-time (0.5FTE) Senior Education Administrator to join the Faculty Education Team in the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences. This is an informal job-share role, working alongside the existing 0.5fte Senior Education Administrator. The successful applicant must be able to work all day on either a Monday or Tuesday, with the remaining 1½ days to be worked across Thursday and Friday.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced existing team to provide an efficient, effective and professional administrative support service for the Faculty’s teaching and learning activities. The role holder will take responsibility for specific areas of administration which support the undergraduate student administration-related processes within the Faculty.
You will be an articulate and confident individual with excellent administrative and communication skills, including experience using databases and spreadsheets, as well as a good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience of using a University student record database (such as SITS) would be preferable. You will need to be able to multi-task whilst organising a busy and varied workload. A strong customer care orientation and commitment to service quality is also required.
