Project Engineer

The Systems Project Manager, within Integrated Systems, plans directs, coordinates and drives to completion activities of designated PerkinElmer Integrated system orders to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are successfully accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and funding parameters, at a high level of quality. This individual would be expected to manage all levels of the project from Pre-Sales through final delivery.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in cross-functionally developing teams to develop Integrated Automated systems. Uses a phase gated development framework to efficiently complete the tasks required for integration system projects. Agile software project management skills are a plus.
• Assure that the developed products meet or exceed performance and cost and serviceability goals.
• Identify and assist with technical issues and project risks.
• Facilitate meaningful and constructive exchange of ideas and knowledge; applies extra effort as required to meet project goals.
• Conduct project presentations or demonstrations to customers, leadership, and colleagues.
• Communicate project status to cross-functional Sr. Leadership through project reviews and status reports.
• Maintain project metrics for accurate project status communication and is actively involved in the global development of these metrics.
