Fixed term contract available immediately until 30 November 2018.

The Web Solutions Team is responsible for end to end design, development and support of websites at the University of Leeds. Projects range from building content management driven websites (e.g. the corporate website - www.leeds.ac.uk) to large scale application developments (e.g. leedsforlife.leeds.ac.uk).

This role is focused on developing and supporting the Universities’ web content management system (Jadu) alongside the development of a number of websites within the platform.

The Web Solutions Team works closely with the central Marketing and Communications function of the University and is taking a lead role in the development of the University’s web presence and visual identity. We are seeking to appoint a developer with a WordPress development background to join the team.

You will have proven development experience across a range of technologies including WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS and MySQL as well as experience of taking websites through the development lifecycle ensuring effective communication and consultation with stakeholders and customers.
