Do you want to support the Faculty of Engineering’s strategic objectives and research culture by providing high quality, customer-focused research support? Do you have experience and confidence in understanding, handling and presenting statistical and financial information?

You will act as the first point of contact in the Faculty for all matters relating to the costing of research grants. You will support the development of funding applications, provide financial administration and manage a portfolio of research grants.

This will include preparing full costings for research grant proposals, providing advice to academics and researchers within the Faculty on the application of full economic costing principles, scenario planning, and compliance with sponsor regulations, terms and conditions, and University policy.

 You will have strong numeracy skills, plus practical experience and confidence in understanding, handling and presenting statistical and financial information. You will also have experience of working with finance systems and procedures, with the proven ability to solve complex financial problems.
