Business and Employer Engagement Manager (Dubai)

With the launch of the University’s branch campus in September 2018, the Business and Employer Engagement Officer will contribute to the development of our presence in the region. Based in Dubai, the post holder will have responsibility for building relationships with key stakeholders, ranging from employers, business contacts and alumni. In the months leading up to the first intake of students, responsibilities will focus on developing employer and business engagement for the purposes of curriculum development, graduate recruitment, labour market information and developing strong business partnerships.

You will have excellent recruitment/business development and negotiation skills and a proven client relationship management track record.With the ability to identify and seize new opportunities, you will also work collaboratively with a range of colleagues based in Birmingham and Dubai. You will be a self-starter who can work under their own initiative and you will be comfortable working with a range of stakeholders. In this role it is vital that you are a key ambassador for the University of Birmingham in the Middle East and beyond to ensure success in this exciting new initiative.

 

Salary: Competitive

Fixed term for 2 years.
