Full time, continuing position

Join the School of Education and provide a critical point of contact for information flow between the School, Faculty and external bodies on a broad range of academic compliance and administrative issues related to Initial Teacher Education accreditation.

The Accreditation and Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for providing high level support across Initial Teacher Education (ITE) reporting, compliance and review life-cycles within the School of Education. Working closely with the Head of School, Associate Head Learning and Teaching, Program Directors and key external stakeholders, the position is responsible for the management, coordination and oversight of a range of responsive and effective quality assurance measures that contribute to the delivery of high quality and efficient administrative services to ensure all ITE programs gain and maintain accreditation.

To be successful you will need:
  • High level of skills and experience in managing and coordinating quality assurance and evaluation administration functions to support organisational business needs, preferably in a higher education environment.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner to deliver client-centric results.
  • Extensive experience in synthesising large amounts of information, both qualitative and quantitative, and in preparing written reports.
  • Knowledge and proven experience with higher education committee structures and procedures and the ability to provide professional administrative support to committees.
  • Demonstrated project coordination and management experience, including in managing the successful communicate and building of constructive working relationship with a diverse range of stakeholders, and facilitating complex discussions and negotiations.
