Project Manager with experience of the drug development process required for CRO based in the south west of theUK. Excellent opportunity to work with a great team in an exciting time where more and more drug development is outsourced!
The successful project manager will liaise between the client and internal teams to ensure all client needs are met with regard both project budgets and timelines. Responsibilities will include delivery of projects on time and in budget by leading and directing multi-disciplinarily project teams, maintaining quality and accuracy of project plans, chairing meetings both internal and with client.
All these activities will be within the drug development process so thorough knowledge of the process of drug development from bench through pilot plant to production is required. The ideal candidate the role of Project Manager will have a degree in Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacy with over 3 years experience of product development and/or project management in the pharmaceutical development industry. Experience of the pharmaceutical industry and GMP development and production are required as is previous experience of managing processes with an external client is essential. Leadership skills together with excellent organizational, planning, decision making and negotiation ability would be necessary to be successful in this role.
