Job Summary:
My client, fast growing innovative Contract Manufacturing Organization dedicated to the production of high quality recombinant proteins, and which is based in a Biotech region in North of Spain, is currently recruiting for a Senior Scientist for Analytical Development who will be reporting to the R+D Director.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
*Development and validation of physicochemical analytical methods to support the company's portfolio (monoclonal antibodies).
*Generation of experimental data and report writing.
*Optimization and validation of analytical methods needed for different products.
*Providing analytical support to Bio Process Research (process understanding).
*Characterisation of in-process related impurities using biochemical analysis techniques.
Essential Skills & Capabilities:
*Degree in Biochemistry or Biotechnology.
*At least 5 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical development, in the protein´s characterization or formulation development.
*In depth knowledge in HPLC techniques, capillary electrophoresis, isoeletrofocusing, N-terminus, mass spectrometry and UV/VIS spectrometry.
*English is the official work language.
