Our client is a leading provider of high-performance scientific instruments and solutions for molecular and materials research, as well as for industrial and applied analysis.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Business Development Manager to join their office based in Coventry. Covering all areas of the UK, you will use your tenacity and commitment to hitting targets to assist in profitably growing the Clinical Diagnostics section of the business. Using your well developed and utilised sales skills, you will identify potential sales opportunities primarily within microbiology and manage the complete sales process to completion.
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled sales person with expert knowledge of Analytical Spectroscopy or Microbiology. An unmatched passion for sales and a self-motivated and positive outlook on targets are essential as is the ability to work effectively within all levels of the organisation. You must be well organised, enabling you to prioritise and handle multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy. A true sales professional, you will foresee the reactions of your clients and you will create effective communications and have the necessary influencing skills to assist you in your closing of the sale. You will be consummate professional and present both your person and your business flawlessly. It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and are eligible to travel to all countries with no exclusions. You will be willing and able to travel extensively throughout the UK, Ireland and occasionally into Europe.
