Faculty Position in Wilkes-Barre, PA!!
Family Medicine Faculty with OB: Family medicine residency program in northeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a new faculty member. Must be board certified or board eligible. Position requirements: three (3) years of clinical experience with exposure to medical education. The Faculty Physician is an educational, medical, and administrative position established by the Board of Directors of Wilkes-Barre Academic Medicine to fulfill its responsibility for quality patient care, teaching and supervision of resident physicians within the Wilkes-Barre Family Medicine Residency Program. The ideal candidate will possess maturity, strong organizational, computer, people and telephone skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, and teach multiple learners; medical billing and coding knowledge; insurance knowledge; attention to detail; logic and common sense. We are seeking an independent thinker with the ability to make sound judgments, who is flexible and possesses a commitment to quality patient care and Family Medicine. Obstetrical aspect has room to be developed to maximize the skills and desires of the appropriate candidate.
