A Biomedical company is looking for a Medical Device Technician in the Oncology field.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and people-oriented professional for a part/full-time position as a Medical Device Technician based in Italy, Spain, the Czech Republic or Austria. The Technician will be responsible for supporting commercial and clinical trial patients utilizing the Medical Device for treating cancer diseases. The Technician will be joining a team of technicians and support representatives from other regions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patient visits to check technical status of devices and replace components as necessary.
Troubleshoot problems through a well-defined procedure.
Provide patient training and reinforce as applicable.
Travel to patient homes and to physician offices.
All approved travel expenses will be reimbursed.
Amount of travel required is dependent on patient needs and location but could be as much as several hours per day.
Qualifications:
MUST have fluency in English and in target country’s language (Italian / Spanish / Czech / German)
MUST have the authorization to stay for long period and work from the relevant country (Italy / Spain / Czech Republic / Austria)
Minimum of an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s preferred
Patient care experience preferred (medical technician, medical assistant, nurse, nurse assistant, physical or occupational therapist or assistant, assisted living care provider)
Positive, energetic, service-oriented disposition
Basic technical skills – manipulating computer files, following test and troubleshooting procedures
Able to operate and solve problems independently with minimal supervision
Working Condition:
Ability to lift up to 22 kg
