A successful and influential Medical Communications agency is seeking someone for a 3 month contract as Editorial Team Leader or Editorial Director. The successful applicant will manage a team of medical writers and oversee the production of projects which focus on several key therapeutic areas.
Based in London, you will lead the editorial development, production and implementation of projects for pharmaceutical clients; ensuring the production of high-quality medical writing across a variety of communications. The successful candidate will make certain that all the expectations and strategic objectives of the agency's clients are met over the duration of the 3 month contract and ensure that medical copy is scientifically accurate and appropriate to target audiences.
To be considered for this unique role, you must have a degree or ideally a PhD in a science or medical related field as well as relevant experience within a Medical Communications agency. An innate ability to develop clear messages and portray scientific data accurately is also a must. The successful candidate will have grasped a thorough understanding of medical terminology as well as an understanding of various therapeutic areas and be able to translate these technical and scientific terms in to accessible language for a variety of audiences.
