Essential Responsibilities:
Work closely with all stakeholders to define functional and non-functional requirements for software platform product.
Responsible for platform product roadmap and maintain complete requirements backlog. Work with platform architects, business architects, solution architects, engineering and business stakeholders to define product roadmap.
Responsible for product releases. Drive planning and execution of product release processes to ensure successful and on time product release.
Provide detailed guidance to engineering and QA resources, as well as functional and technical documentation to ensure the right product is delivered with each release.
Responsible for completing and maintaining the product requirement document; responsible for maintaining detailed product specifications.
Act as product evangelist. Manage internal and external communication of product capabilities, release plans, and value proposition. Organize and provide product demonstration and presentations to various stakeholders, customers or prospects.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degrees in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of software product management experience, including a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in software development life cycle. Product management experience in platform software products preferred.
Technical domain knowledge in software platform products required.
Understanding of complete software development lifecycle. Experience with Agile-based software development process.
Very strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Exceptional communication skills and demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to define and document product requirements.
Demonstrated ability to manage product roadmap and releases working with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA.

Desired Characteristics:
MBA degree with a minimum of 2 years experience
10 years of relevant experience in software development life cycle.
Experience in either software architecture, software marketing, or software engineering preferred.
Ability to work and lead in unstructured environment highly desirable.
