Clinical Specialist, Medical Devices, Portsmouth, Guildford, Clinical Specialist - Trainer

This organisation specialises in manufacturing and developing Medical Monitoring Devices used within the critical care environment in hospitals. Due to recent growth they now have an exciting opportunity available for a Clinical Specialist covering the Portsmouth and Guildford territory.

As the Clinical Specialist you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships through effective education programmes across a defined territory.

Duties within this role will include:
*Providing clinical education and product training programmes to customers
*Assisting in developing education programmes relating to customer and company requirements
*Coordinating activities with the Regional Sales Manager
*Supporting Clinical Trainers and Clinical Application Specialists on territory
*Representing the company at industry conventions and meetings as required
*Participating in company product training programmes
*Assisting in the implementation of trials in new business areas
*Communicating between the Implementation Manager and Regional Sales Manager
*Providing education and reference materials to nurses, physicians and other healthcare
providers in the form of technical, theoretical and clinical applications of the monitor

The suitable candidate will have a background in nursing / as an operating department practitioner. Experience of working as a Clinical Specialist within the hospital environment is essential for this role. A strong back in Haemodynamics is highly desirable.
