One of Oxfordshire's foremost Medical Communications agencies has a new exciting opening for a driven, experienced and committed Senior Editor to join their expanding, talented team.
As a key member of the Editorial team, you will be responsible for the management and implementation of editorial projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects reach fruition and will take on a number of diverse and challenging responsibilities, including: project management, editing, proofreading and organising artwork of editorial projects in liaison with the rest of the team. In this position you will motivate and lead junior members to success.
The winning candidate will be the main point of contact with clients regarding editorial matters and will be responsible for ensuring that projects meet the client's brief and are completed to the highest possible editorial standards and within the deadlines set. As such, only a candidate with previous experience in a Medical Communications Agency as Senior Editor will be considered for this role. This company will also consider strong candidates with a healthcare publishing background.
To be eligible, you will ideally have a life science degree, as well as experience within medical communications or medical publishing. An innate ability to develop clear messages and portray scientific data accurately is also a must. The successful candidate will have grasped a thorough understanding of medical terminology as well as an understanding of the therapeutic area and market situation for various products.
