Medical Editor - Healthcare Communications Agency - South East
An experienced Medical Editor is now required for a fantastic medical communications organisation, to join their dynamic team in the South East. As an established agency, they work with major clients in the pharmaceutical industry and are renowned for delivering innovative medical content across a variety of communication programmes. Furthermore, as a leading organisation they provide a wide range of services including everything from medical publishing and event management, to printed materials and digital media.
As the Medical Editor you will be responsible for the quality control, editing and proofing of an array of documents including everything from product training manuals and conference materials, to website materials and competitor profiles. You will also work alongside the Senior Medical Editor to help train staff on the editorial procedures and the in house style. With you excellent knowledge, you will be responsible for project management, liaising with clients and demonstrate a good understanding of financial procedures and budgets.
To be considered for this role you should have previous experience within the STM Publishing or Medical Communications industry. You should be educated to degree level within a biomedical science or English discipline. Outstanding project management skills and a good understanding of the editorial processes is to be expected.
