A leading Engineering client are looking for a Java / J2EE Software Developer responsible for developing web applications. The role is based in Bristol and is paying up to £45,000.
You will need previous experience of developing web applications in Java / J2EE and posses skills in, Oracle and Hibernate.
The role will include:
Requirements capture and analysis.
Software Architecture and detailed design.
Extensive use of OOD/OOA and UML.
Software development.
Software validation and verification (unit, module, integration, system and acceptance testing).
De-bugging, fixing defects and deploying for test
They use their own version of Agile so exposure to the Agile methodology would be ideal. If not Agile then knowledge of other software development methodologies would be OK.
You will be required to under go Security Clarence so need to be a British Citizen.
