Laboratory Manager Application & Product Development - Biocides and Additives - GERMANY
Do you have significant experience in a laboratory role for Paints and Additives within product development?

Much of the growth is down to a focus on R&D with high performing materials and return on investment. They focus on a number of areas, not just Agrochemicals with a vast number of other market areas and supplying coatings and performance additives to the leading industry names.
Subsequent to recent growth and a growing workload, our client now seeks a Laboratory Manager to lead the Development and application within Additives or Biocides
You will manage customer projects, product development and application testing for a wide range of performance materials, including wetting agents, defoamers, dispersants, biocides, etc. for paints & coatings
This is a European role with:
Managing customer projects, product development and application testing for a wide range of performance materials including wetting agents, defoamers, dispersants, biocides, etc. for the paints & coatings market in Europe.
Provide presentations on research findings
Establish test designs for customer, marketing or product development projects including definition of milestones and timelines.
Project planning with Director of Product Development
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Chemist - Ph.D. or Diploma/Master; expertise in Organic or Polymer Chemistry preferred.
Experience with additives for paints and coatings industry or construction materials is strongly preferred.
Significant experience in product development for polymers or performance additives or biocides
If this experience is not evident, significant Experience in a similar role supersedes all of above.
English speaking is the only requirement
Must be able to demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervisions. Managing a team of three lab technicians.
