Account Director- Medical Education- London
An award winning Medical Communications agency is searching for a motivational Account Director to join their creative team in the superb Centre of London. Boasting clients from some of the world's leading pharmaceutical organisations; this agency provides an exceptional service, producing work that would raise the hairs on the back of your neck!
As the Account Director, you will be fully responsible for the P&L and strive for the continuous success for your team. You will be accountable for multiple high profile projects and clients, worth an estimated value of over half a million pounds; ensuring they are delivered to the highest possible standard. In addition, you will push business development, establishing new industry contacts and building strong, long lasting working relationships.
In order to succeed in this unique Account Director opportunity, you must have:
*At least 4 years' experience working at Senior Account Manager level up within a Medical Communications agency- this is VITAL
*New Business Development Experience; with a tract record of successful business pitches, from conception to delivery.
*Excellent leadership skills, with the allocate appropriate workloads and push the accounts team to achieve their absolute best
*Line Management experience
*Experience covering a range of medical communication responsibilities including KOL management/development, events including symposia & meetings and publications/publication planning experience
*Exposure to Medical Education and PR is preferable
*Educated to degree level within a scientific discipline, PhD level desirable
