Senior Moulding Engineer  

Location: Southern Ireland – Galway  Salary:

My Client is a World Leader in the manufacture of innovative medical devices seeks to appoint a Senior Moulding Engineer in their Injection Moulding manufacturing area based in Galway.

Candidates must arrive with a Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience with at least 5+ years within a management capacity 

Responsibilities 

• Providing engineering & technical leadership on product and process issues within the Injection Moulding manufacturing area ensuring performance to key metrics across the areas of People/Safety, Quality, and Service & Cost.

• Directly supervise, lead & develop the Injection Moulding Manufacturing Engineering team within the operations area providing leadership to the Engineers and Technicians for Problem Solving, Process Improvement & VIP (Cost Savings) projects.

Short listing Criteria 

• Experience of direct people management in a Production / Engineering environment is essential. 

• Solid Engineering Essentials / Six Sigma knowledge & experience is desirable.

• A Honours (HETAC 8) or Masters degree in Polymer Engineering / Materials Science.

• Phd Qualified – desirable 

• It is essential that candidates have strong technical and management background that can demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills
