Business Development - Pharmaceutical/Chemical Specialist
A leading CRO organisation is currently seeking a Business Development Executives to join their growing commercial team, in Germany. This company offers a range of pre-clinical and non-clinical contract research services to their biopharmaceutical and chemical clients, across the world. To facilitate their further growth in the European market, this organisation is seeking an experienced Sales Executive to develop their business in Germany.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in Europe by carrying out market research and applying your knowledge of the pharmaceutical or chemical industry. The successful candidate will be required to create effective business plans to manage new and existing accounts, as well as actively approaching prospective clients to introduce the company's CRO services and to gain new accounts in Europe. This role requires strong market research skills, as the Business Development Executive will be using marketing intelligence to identify competitors in the CRO industry. The Sales Manager will be used to working independently role and will be willing to travel extensively across Europe.
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong sales or business development background in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, agrochemical or chemical sector; preferably with experience of dealing with contract research organisations. You will speak fluent English and German, and will hold a valid driving licence (preferably clean).
