My client is recruiting for a six month contract for a Microbiologist Technologist for a Global Pharmaceutical Company. The role is based in Gloucestershire and an immediate start.
The purpose of the role is to microbiologically analyse third party contractor and customer complaint samples to evaluate product integrity.
The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1.Conduct routine testing of finished products, in process and raw materials
2.Conduct regular environmental monitoring of production areas in accordance with lab procedures
3.Reporting of atypical and out of specification results in a timely manner
4.Accurate reports and data highlighting irregularities so that corrective action can be implemented
5.Participating in continuous improvement activities and projects to improve microbiological
performance
The right candidate:
1.Educated to degree level
2.Experience working within a laboratory environment
3.An understanding of microbiological risk on nutritional health drinks and the packaging environment
