Job Summary:

My client, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation, is looking for a Qualified Person (QP) to function as the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager, with experience in batch release from a solid dose environment, to work closely with Packaging and Manufacturing on deviation management.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Responsible for QA Operational Quality
Working closely with Packaging and Manufacturing on deviation management
Responsible for batch release management process
Part of the companies QP group

Required Experience:

Two years' previous experience as a QA Manager, or relevant managerial role
At least two years' experience as a QP in the release to market of solid dose pharmaceutical products
Experienced in a solid dose production environment and have a sound understanding of the ensuing technical issues
Comfortable working in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) environments

Essential Skills & Capabilities:

Eligible to act as a QP and member of a recognised regulatory body
Strong and tested communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for quality excellence
Adaptable and flexible to cope with the changing needs of responsibilities
Ability to identify opportunities for process and operational improvements, implementing appropriate changes to deliver these benefits
Passion for "right-first-time" processes and a determination to understand breakdown/failure root cause and prevent reoccurrence
Strong organisational and coordinating skills
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects with potentially conflicting requirements
