We are working alongside a growing medical communications agency to find an experienced medical writer or publications professional to join this team and assist with an exciting time in their development. You will work with the company's medical writers, account directors and other members of the team to ensure the timely completion of a range of publications-focussed projects. This role is a good way for an experienced medical writer to take on a new role that takes advantage of your experience whilst being different from a standard writing role.
This role will involve coordinating projects from start to completion and will include responsibilities such as allocating resources, bringing in freelancers, reviewing the work of the writing team and supporting client services with client issues. You will form a key part of a motivated and experienced team and will be at the centre of many important projects. The agency in question is well established but is independent and still growing, so you'll be working in a vibrant, fast paced environment in which everyone is working towards the same goals. Additionally, as you'll be joining the company at this stage in its development, you could well be in line for future opportunities once the firm grows.
To be considered for this position it will be necessary to have a background working as a medical writer or account manager within medical communications agencies, whilst also having experience of working on publications projects.
