Scientific Instrumentation Sales Executive - Chemistry - Bristol
A developing scientific organisation is seeking an ambitious Technical Sales Engineer to join this international company. Being based in Bristol, you will report to the European HQ and be responsible for sales of their scientific instruments to the research industry throughout the UK and Ireland. Working autonomously, this is a fantastic opportunity for a driven sales representative or Chemistry graduate to broaden their sales skills and work under their own initiative within the scientific sector.
Working from the office and laboratories based in Bristol, you will promote their range of surface chemistry instruments throughout the UK and Ireland to laboratories throughout a range of sectors. You will be outgoing with excellent communication skills and be confident in promoting technical products and negotiating deals with customers face-to-face. Being responsible for the full sales cycle of these innovative products, you will be required to travel frequently to meetings, events and exhibitions to promote these products.
To be qualified for this position, you will be educated to Masters or PhD level in a chemical, material science or physics discipline, with experience of working in a laboratory environment. Although sales experience is desirable, it is by no means essential as the passion to succeed in sales with a solid scientific foundation is mainly required.
