Essential Responsibilities:
Work with technicians and engineers to design, install, and commission new chemical engineering experiments
Perform both atmospheric and high pressure/ temperature tests and interpret results;
Collaborate with other engineers in developing new reactor/process design methodologies considering cost, operability, reliability and emissions;
Model chemical process using commercial engineering analysis tools.
Validate analytical and numerical models using experimental data Interact with Worldwide GE Fuels & Emissions community to establish best practices. The right candidate will have a demonstrated ability to:

1.Conceive ideas to solve fuel processing/conversion system design problems

2. Evaluate design of system using experimental and computational techniques

3. Meet schedule and deliver high quality work

Qualifications/Requirements:
Doctorate in Chemical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or related disciplines with 2 years above of relevant experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of chemical engineering and catalysis, test rig design/construction, process simulation and optimization.
Demonstrated ability to investigate, model and provide critical insight into complex physical phenomena.
Demonstrated project leadership experience, including successful track of completing deliverables on schedule and on budget.· Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills to contribute as part of a cross-functional development team. Ability to set and achieve aggressive goals and targets. Excellent problem solving skills, clear thinker and high energy with passion for excellence. Fluent oral and written communication in English.

Background in fuels and emissions, including: fuel conversion & upgrading, catalysis, design and evaluation of new chemical systems. Peer reviewed journal publications. Experience working in teams and creating innovative technology solutions. Knowledge of reaction engineering, transport, process simulation (Aspen/PROII) Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills Strong analytical skills Ability to work across all functions/levels as part of a team Ability to create innovative technology solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills The ability to independently execute on projects Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
