My client, a leading medical device company specialising in woundcare products and technologies, have an exciting opportunity within their research and development team for a Project Scientist.
The key responsibilities of this role will be:
· To manage and deliver R&D projects on time, to specification and within budget
· To carry out development work in compliance with Design Control procedures
· To take product from feasibility through regulatory approval to launch
· To validate the manufacturing process
· To transfer the product to manufacturing
· To prepare protocols and reports
· To organise project reviews and issue accurate concise project reports
· To train laboratory technicians and/or operators in new processes / procedures
The ideal candidate will be degree qualified or equivalent in polymer or material science or related discipline and must have project management skills. Previous experience of GMP, IVD Directive and ISO guidelines will be highly advantageous.
