My client a software company based in Hatfield whose products are used in the scientific industries are seeking a software / C++ developer to assist in the maintenance and development of cross-platform software tools. This would be an ideal role for a software engineer who likes to be involved in the whole course of software development, from the first specification stage through to the release.

The successful software developer will be expected to:

*Maintain existing software products.
*Developing new software products.
*Writing and maintaining automated test suites.

They are looking for someone with the following experience:
*Experience of developing software using C++
*Ability to work independently within a small team environment.
*Experience of Cross platform development such as Windows, OSX and Linux would be beneficial.
*Experience or knowledge of Pharmaceuticals, Biology or Chemistry would be an advantage.
