Role Overview:
This role will be to manage internal development projects with direct responsibility for adherence to timelines, material sourcing and ordering, batch manufacturing and technical overview of the projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Engage in resource planning and associated costs prior to commencing new projects.
Compile project plans for internal development projects in conjunction with site team.
Ensure full communication of project tasks and timelines.
Complete product development studies as appropriate associated with formulation development and process development.
Provide technical support to analytical teams throughout project.
Provide hands on control of trial manufacturing inclusive of material ordering and experimental batch manufacturing.
Prepare and execute experimental batch processing
Provide technical support to operational teams during preparation for batch manufacturing.
Compile experimental batch reports where necessary.
To ensure timely generation of process validation documentation suitable for regulatory submission.
Provide technical support to the regulatory affairs group to assist in regulatory filings.
Conduct regular project team meeting to ensure that the project is on track and provide a forum for debate and discussion of any issues being encountered.
Provide weekly overviews of project to management with clear communication if timelines are slipping.
Provide written monthly updates for submission to senior management.
Conduct all work in a GMP environment and adhere to all established procedures.
Where necessary generate GMP documentation inclusive of SOPs, technical reports, process development reports etc.

Requirements:
Degree in or related to Chemistry
Experience within a process/product development role from a GMP compliant company (preferably Pharmaceutical)
Experience in project planning.
Ability to build teamwork and open channel of communication.
Business focused, inclusive of behaviour and attitude.
Ability to influence change to allow the business to remain relevant.
Ability to create ideas, understand the need for change and embrace it.
Good communication skills, and willingness to participate in team discussions
