Trainee Editor/ Copy Editor - London - STM Publishing
A recent biomedical science graduate is now required for a fantastic editorial role within a successful STM Publishing Company in Central London. This leading publisher is renowned for their publications developed in print and online; and in topics including oncology, molecular medicine and therapeutic medicine. Furthermore, they are dedicated to delivering the highest quality products and services to extremely targeted audiences.
As the Copy Editor, you will be assisting the journal team by copy editing and proofreading journal articles and materials. You will work closely with health professionals and will be accountable for acquiring, managing and developing new editorial content. This is a varied role that will include everything from managing the in- house processes, maintaining the smooth running of their journal and project management.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you should have previous editorial experience within a STM publishing company. The ideal applicant will be educated to PhD level; however this is not essential. Additionally, you will have superb computer skills; including knowledge of Mac OS and InDesign.
