The Strategic Customer Marketing Director leads cross-functional teams to develop and successfully implement portfolio marketing strategies and initiatives for the Strategic Customer Group. The Strategic Customer Marketing, Director is responsible for capturing insights and developing programs to establish a differentiated market position for J&J Health Care Systems and Janssen.

They are responsible for identifying emerging trends to determine specific needs and opportunities. They establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure the ability to deliver programs that create value for both J&J and our customers.

Responsibilities may include:

Management and development of key programs and initiatives that deliver on stakeholder goal of the triple aim: reduce costs, improve quality and enhance patient satisfaction

Identification and development of resources for utilization by SCG account personnel to streamline management of brand materials and drive portfolio discussions

Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and manage external convention strategy and budget

Develop and enhance programs for the QualitySolutions 360 Website, complete training and ensure knowledge of available resources by field teams

Management of the SCG branding and communication strategy including SCG town halls, quarterly updates, presentations and materials on the SCG for franchise town halls or other meetings. Development and maintenance of internal and external SCG presentation materials.

The Strategic Customer Marketing Director works closely with stakeholders to deliver and execute targeted solutions that address mutual strategic priorities and bring values to all parties.

Demonstrates conviction, proactivity and persistence when influencing others and overcoming resistance.

Interprets results of data analyses and understands business implications that are important to stakeholders.

Applies an understanding of value-based healthcare economics, payment and delivery models, and the roles of the payor, provider and patients in reimbursement decisions and how they impact marketing, contract, and pricing strategies.

Creates and executes results oriented business plans that are aligned with brand and stakeholder strategies.

Delivers and creates clear and concise communications and presentations using approaches that highlight the most pertinent information for key stakeholders and spur stakeholder actions.

Plans, adjusts, prioritizes and executes strategies to achieve results.

Qualifications


A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Total business experience of 6 years is required, with a strong preference for 6 or more years experience in account management, marketing or pharmaceutical sales at the District Manager level. The ability to manage and negotiate budgets is required. The ability to collaborate and influence others at various levels in the organization, including senior level account personnel and executives is required. The ability to communicate effectively with others and defend logical business arguments is required. Experience working in decentralized and cross functional business models is required. Experience leading project teams and people with and without direct reporting authority is required. This position can be located in Raritan, NJ, Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA and may require travel.
