Strategic Buyer - Fixed term contract - Immediate start

My client is a global pharmaceutical company, headquartered in Germany. They work with Specialty as well as Generic and OTC products with affiliates all over the world. They have offer great internal progression opportunities and excellent internationality aspect of their positions.

To join them immediately and work with them until December 2017, they are looking for a Buying specialist to be involved in brand new project and work with customers across the DACH region.

As a Strategic Buyer you will be responsible for the operational procurement of assigned categories (Marketing, IT, Consulting, Travel & Fleet and HR Services) ,thus covering the full procurement process. You will act as an interface to internal stakeholders, accounting and external suppliers and carry out audits. You will be involved in the selection of suppliers in cooperation with the responsible business units, and negotiate prices.

This role is a great way of getting into the pharmaceutical industry, and future employment will be much easier within life-science, should you join a client like mine.

Job requirements:

• Indirect buyer experience
• SAP knowledge
• Fluent English and German
• Ideally coming from the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry - but this is not a must
