Job Details
Duties will include: Assist with the establishment and maintenance of field treatment plots in vineyard experiments. Assist with the collection, evaluation, and recording of experimental treatment effects on grapevine health and vigor in the field. Perform pH, titration, and refractometer measurements in the laboratory to assess field treatment effects on grape juice quality. Enter and organize data into computer files. Assist with establishment, conduct, and collection and processing of greenhouse experiments. Maintain experimental grapevines in pot culture in the greenhouse. Isolate, culture, and maintain fungal plant pathogens in the laboratory. Assist in the maintenance of insect colonies for experimental purposes.
This position may require that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of you job duties. A valid driver`s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
