Assistant/Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology

Penn State Harrisburg, School of Science, Engineering, and Technology invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology, effective August 2016.

The successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses and laboratories. In addition, all full-time faculty are expected to engage in research and scholarly activities, participate in University/College and professional service, assist with ABET accreditation processes, and advise students. A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise and teaching experience in solid mechanics, engineering materials, manufacturing processes and computer-aided design. Candidates with industrial experience are encouraged to apply. PE license is a plus.
