Senior Student Education Service Assistant

Leeds University Business School is a leading business school, rated within the world’s top 100 and ranked 3rd in Europe for the quality of its research (Financial Times 2006). You will work in a team of professional student education services staff who support the School’s taught postgraduate students and programmes. There are over 1200 postgraduates, many of whom are from overseas and over 26 programmes.

You will support student education processes, assisting with the provision of support services for students and staff. You will operate effectively and efficiently as part of a busy, student focused team.  You will work flexibly, with a main responsibility as the first point of contact for all students, staff and visitors, but also able to move across areas of work as necessary, to respond to workload peaks. This will provide opportunities for cross team working and continued professional development.  You will work collaboratively with team members within their school, with other schools and central services.

With excellent organisational skills you will be able to demonstrate keen attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of your role. You should possess a good level of competency in the use of IT systems. The ability to adapt and pick up new information quickly and easily, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills are required, as is the ability to present a responsive, professional image in person, via email and telephone.
