Lecturer in Law (two posts available)

The University of Bristol Law School is a leading UK law school with an international reputation for outstanding teaching and research. The School is currently growing and seeks to recruit two lecturers in law to join our thriving academic environment and contribute to research and teaching therein. We embrace excellence in all its forms and welcome applications from across the range of subject areas and research methodologies.

The positions are available from 1 August 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter.  The posts will be located at either Wills Memorial Building, Queens Road, Bristol BS8 1RJ or 8-10 Berkeley Square, Bristol BS8 1HG.

The applicant 

Applicants should have a completed PhD in law or equivalent, or to be close to completion of a PhD by the post start date and a strong honours degree at undergraduate level in law or a law-related subject.   In addition, applicants should have demonstrable ability to produce excellent research leading to publications of 3* or 4* quality by REF2014 standards; a planned trajectory of high quality publications over a significant period and demonstrable experience of successful teaching or tutoring at university level or equivalent.
