Job Details

The host group studies the cell-cell signalling interactions controlling organ development in mouse embryos and progenitor/stem cells by combining mouse molecular genetic and epigenetic analysis with chromatin biochemistry and cellular analyses. The systems biology approaches used by the host group are at the cutting edge of mouse developmental genetics, epigenetics and stem cell biology.


Your tasks

  • The successful candidate will do his/her own research as part of one of our key research projects.
  • In addition, she/he will spend ~15% of their time with lab management/support duties.


Your profile

  • Applicants holding a Master or Bachelor degree in Molecular Life Sciences are also encouraged to apply for this position.
  • Applicants must have practical (= working) expertise in molecular biology and either of the following fields: CRISPR technology, biochemistry/chromatin analysis, FACS analysis and/or working with mouse embryonic stem cells.
  • The working language is English; therefore knowledge of this language is an asset.
  • Please note that applications from individuals with a PhD will not be considered.
