Job Details
Research interests of the Center for Social Psychology focus on the areas of Social Cognition (e.g., Judgment and Decision Making, Feelings, Impression Formation, Social Influence) and Consumer Behavior (e.g., Choice, Brands). The advertised Doctoral Position is part of a research project on 'Supporting Decision-Making Processes' funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.

Your assignments
- Independent planning and implementation of research studies as well as their documentation
- Leading of courses and taking over organizational and administrative tasks within the responsibilities of the Center for Social Psychology
- High willingness to work independently and a strong commitment within the team as well as for the matters of the Center for Social Psychology
Your profile
- Formal prerequisites include a very good university degree in psychology (Master, Lizentiat or Diplom) and the intention to acquire a doctoral degree
- Demonstrated interest in one or more research topics of the Center for Social Psychology
- High ability to work within a team, organizational skills, and independence
- Very good knowledge of research methods and statistics
- Very good knowledge of German and English (spoken and written)
