The School of Healthcare is seeking to appoint a Network Co-ordinator to support and administer a new Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Cross Disciplinary Networking project ‘Exploring Histories and Futures of Innovation in Advanced Wound Care’, a collaboration between the School of Healthcare and the School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science.

The project will bring together academics and health professionals in workshops, to examine with patients and industry, the historical and sociological development of 'advanced' wound care in the UK and major challenges faced by the sector, co-ordinate relevant interest groups to ensure their participation in these workshops and disseminate the project’s outcomes through scholarly publications, the website, public lectures, blogging and tweeting

You will facilitate and organise the workshops, assist to ensure participation of the key interest groups, ensure their access needs are met;  prepare publicity materials and workshop evaluation questionnaires, minute discussions at workshops and meetings; co-ordinate meetings of the steering group and generally offer administrative support to the project, including developing, editing and updating webpages for each workshop; preparing reports for the AHRC, producing financial accounts for the project; coordinating plans for publication from each workshop and initiating publicity on social media.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to understand and record interdisciplinary discussions and the ability to work well with a wide range of internal and external contacts. You will be expected to demonstrate effective organisational and prioritising skills, work accurately and pay attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met.
