The Role

The successful appointee/s will be required to make a strong contribution to the School's teaching in econometrics, scholarship of teaching and service activities in order to enhance the profile and performance of the School. They will be expected to collaborate with colleagues and the Head of School in further developing the School's programs and linkages with key internal and external stakeholders.

The person

Applicants should possess a PhD in Economics, Econometrics or Statistics with recent and relevant teaching experience. You should also have a solid background in research as demonstrated by published papers in national and international academic journals. Applicants must have a strong commitment to contributing to the continuous improvement of the School's academic programs and to developing a coherent and high quality research program and the capacity to participate in the School's engagement activities.

Remuneration

This is a continuing appointment at academic level B/C/D. The remuneration package for Level B will be in the range of $89,458 to $106,232 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 17% (total package will be in the range $101,618 - $120,671 p.a.) or for Level C $109,586 to 126,360 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 17% (total package will be in the range of $128,216 - $147,841 p.a.) or for Level D $131,951 to $145,370 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of 17% (total package will be in the range of $154,382 - $170,083).
