Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Pharmacology

Applications are invited for the full-time confirmation path position of Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology. An appointment at Senior Lecturer level will be considered for a particularly well-qualified applicant. The Department of Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology teaches in undergraduate medical, pharmacy and science programmes, and in many postgraduate programmes. The Department has a strong research track record with research groups in molecular pharmacology, neuropharmacology, pharmacometrics, drug ADME, toxicology and anti-cancer drugs.

Applications are invited from candidates with a PhD in Pharmacology and research interests in drug disposition and pharmacokinetics. The successful candidates will co-ordinate the teaching of pharmacology in the area of drug disposition and kinetics. He/she will be expected to develop and undertake an independent research programme and to attract external research funding.
