Job Details
The Faculty of Creative Arts and Industries is a respected center for creativity, research, teaching and learning at the University of Auckland.
We offer undergraduate and postgraduate study across a wide range of creative disciplines within Elam School of Fine Arts, the School of Architecture and Planning, School of Music and the Dance Studies Programme. In all areas, the emphasis is on creative exploration and discovery.
An outstanding candidate is sought to provide marketing support to the faculty Communications and Marketing Manager. The role involves providing marketing support (particularly digital) to promote our schools and their programmes, events and activities. The role is broad across the marketing communications area, and includes event and recruitment marketing, creation and production of marketing collateral, and assisting where required on tactical implementation of advertising campaigns.
- Experience with web CMS would be advantageous, as would knowledge of the Adobe design suite and superb writing skills.
- This person will need to be able to identify marketing needs and create content as well as see projects through to production.
- You will need an eye for contemporary, fresh design, the ability to produce good briefs and pitch ideas to internal stakeholders.
You will be part of a young, energetic team of marketing, communications and events professionals. Relationships are everything to this role, so we need someone who is resilient, and can adjust their style to suit the audience.
The successful applicant will have;
- a relevant tertiary qualification,
- excellent time management and relationship building skills,
- be a team player willing to share skills and knowledge.
- Previous marketing experience in a similar position is essential.
