Specialist, Cancer Care Service Line

You are an expert clinical invidual providing guidance, assisting the health care team in maintaining optimum processes of nursing care. You will report to the Nurse Manager and collaborate with Nurse Instructor, nurse coordinators and clinicians in providing educational opportunities for service line health care providers. Participate in collaboration with NES in teaching and staff development activities including orientation and training programs and specialty based courses. You will be responsible to conduct clinical reviews of all patients with staff. Acts as resource person to develop strategies for staff learning and develop competency for better patient care outcomes. You will be involved in teaching activities related to clinical care, staff development, and providing assistance in patient care management on daily basis  and facilitate in staff performances evaluation.

Requirements

You should have:

• a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited school, MScN or equivalent degree would be preferred
• 6- 8 years of overall clinical nursing experience, Oncology specific experience of minimum 3 to 4 years 
• good exposure in teaching/learning, developing educational plans, conducting independent courses as well as implementation of in-service sessions 
• Certification in specialty-based competencies Medication, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ECG interpretation, Hemodynamic monitoring, ventilation management etc.
• valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council 
• strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• able to work on weekend and in evening shifts
