Job Details

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fieldworker to work on the NAP SACC UK feasibility trial. The study is a feasibility cluster randomised controlled trial in child care settings to increase physical activity and health eating in 2-4 year olds.

The role of the Fieldworker will be to collect follow-up data from the study participants (children aged 2-4 years) in July, August and September 2016. This will include measuring weight and height, giving out and collecting movement sensors (accelerometers) and recording diet through observation. Data collection will take place at 12 nurseries in North Somerset, Gloucester and Cheltenham. The role will also involve entering data into the study database. Due to the nature of the nursery day (often 8am to 6pm), it is essential that the candidate can work flexibly to accommodate this. Work is likely to be over three days a week, and between one to three of these days may be long days.
