June to mid-September 2016 Working with Head of Student Counselling, Positive Impact Champions and some external providers, to prepare for launch activities in host residence and school and to prepare support materials for students in Positive Impact teams.

Mid-September 2016 to April 2017 Working with Positive Impact Champions to help form and support Positive Impact Teams, including maintaining regular contact with participants in the scheme via fortnightly updates. Working with JCRs and student societies linked to the residences and schools to develop wellbeing enhancing events/activities through the year. Ensuring ‘evidence’ scrapbooks are returned in April.

April 2017 to June 2017 Evaluating the work of teams to prepare for celebration event and awards. Preparing celebration event. Assisting Head of Student Counselling in evaluating the scheme. Preparing a timeline of activity for Year 2 of the pilot.

Work pattern is flexible but approximately as follows:

An average of 7 hours per week

Period: June 2016-June 2017 for 48 weeks of the year (excluding Bank holidays and University Closure days).

Directly responsible to: Jackie Head, Head of Student Counselling Service

Deadline for applications: Midnight on 1/6/16

Interviews will take place on: 15/6/16

At present funding exists for this role for the first year of the pilot.
