Regulatory lead / REACh expert for EMEA
Our client is a leading global multinational with a reputation for supplying the best commodities in this target market. Working across multiple sectors including Automotive, Aerospace and many others, this is a chance to take on a newly established position within a newly created team.
Working to achieve a centralised workforce in one single location, our client is looking to hire a permanent or temporary candidate to author safety data sheets and be involved in GHS and CLP
As a Regulatory lead / REACh expert for EMEA you wil lhave a mixed role between a strategic and operational to offering guidance to more hands on technical staff that will be involved in authoring Safety data sheets
Working in compliance with REACH, GHS and CLP, assisting the company with CLP and GHS notifications. REACh input will be from a compliance perspective and contribute to Reguatory strategy GLOBALLY
Ensure communication of hazardous substances to the organisation as well as liaising with relevant suppliers and internal stakeholders to communicate such issues
THE CANDIDATE
Educated to degree level with a science background or related discipline. Strong chemistry background is ideal but not a core requirement.
Experience in a regulatory setting and an expert for Chemical legislation (REACH). Having hands on experience with CLP and SDS will be a bonus.
Experience with GHS and/or CLP notifications will also be a bonus.
Expert within REACh legislation is a must and demonstrated experience within a compliance function.
