Senior Teaching Associate

The School of Experimental Psychology are seeking to appoint a full time Senior Teaching Associate on a fixed term basis for 12 months. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an individual with an interest in delivering high quality teaching at all levels who is keen on continuing in academia.  You would be expected to develop your own research agenda, including developing and submitting research proposals to further your academic career.

You would be expected to adapt, prepare, and deliver lecture materials and assessments in a range of psychological topics (e.g. development, cognitive). In addition you would be expected to contribute to the development of innovative teaching and support resources to enhance the student experience.

Experience of teaching and assessing students in both large and small classes is essential.  You will also need to demonstrate the ability to liaise effectively with academic and professional support staff to work cooperatively as part of a team.
