As a leading global manufacturer and supplier of labelling and detection solutions in the applied science markets, we are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and dependable sales person to join our team as a Strategic Account Manager.
Reporting to the European Sales Director the candidate will:
- Be responsible for the development of key French customer accounts in the Biotech, Pharma and Diagnostic markets.
- Establish and develop productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts, and leverage these relationships to develop sales growth objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in joint planning and reporting processes with the Sales Director to develop and attain performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones.
- Assist and co-operate with other account managers and sales support staff, as necessary, to develop key academic accounts in the territory.
Profile:
- A Bachelor's degree (or preferably higher) in a life science subject.
- A sales background (min. 3 years) in the life science market, preferably handling French Pharma and Biotech accounts. Experience in the Molecular Diagnostic field is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in French and English is essential, another European language is advantageous.
- Working from our French Office and willing to spend up to 80% of their time travelling.
- The possession of a full Driving Licence is required.

Strong interest in cell/molecular biology, with knowledge of drug discovery and development processes and platforms.

Possess problem-solving and analytical skills, with strong computer proficiency.
