Location:  Southampton General Hospital
Salary:   £36,672 to £46,414 pro rata, per annum
Part Time - 14 hours per week - Fixed Term for 6 months

Applications are invited for the post of part-time Research Nurse to join an established multi-disciplinary team of researchers with an interest and expertise in continence management. The particular focus of the work will be to provide continence service expertise to support a programme of continence research related to prostate cancer led by Professor Mandy Fader.

 

The main theme of the work is:

  • To test a continence management intervention for men with incontinence following treatment for prostate cancer including radical prostatectomy. This is part of the development of a new integrated continence product service.

 

You will also be involved in:

  • The development of information and other resources across the programme for men managing incontinence after prostate cancer.

 

You will work with the team to deliver the above. You will have substantial clinical experience in managing a continence service and some experience of carrying out continence research. A degree or equivalent is desirable.

The post will require an enhanced DBS check.
